The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation is the owner/operator of the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, a 6.7-acre outdoor event facility offering 79,547 square feet of highly-flexible space for seating, tents and more. An iconic 23-foot commanding stainless sculpture designed by artist, Frank Ledbetter, is a welcoming beacon as the largest public display of work in Destin and Okaloosa County. The Dugas Pavilion is a spacious 1,600 square foot performance stage with a majestic covered canopy. Additional amenities feature a 1,924 square-foot bathroom facility and 168 onsite grass-seeded parking spaces and adjacent shared parking. The Cultural Arts Village is available for rental and can be easily transformed for special events to accommodate audiences from 10 to 3,500.
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation is often confused with Northwest Florida Stage College’s Mattie Kelly Arts Center. However, the two are not affiliated in any way other than a shared benefactor name.
The Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village is conveniently located in the heart of Destin, east of the historic Destin Harbor and west of Destin Commons. Parking and shuttle service is free. View Cultural Arts Village Site Map (PDF)
