Community Engagement

We partner with schools and other community organizations to provide visual and performing arts programs that otherwise would not be available.  As many community members lack access and transportation options to the arts, we take the initiative to deliver the arts directly to them. MKAF offers an array of teaching artist residencies, workshops, touring performances, and summer camps designed to address the unique needs of K-12 students, children and adults with special needs, and veteran and active duty military service members.  All outreach art initiatives are made possible by private and corporate gifts, MKAF event income, and grants.
